Our return policy is designed to protect your investment and aligns strictly with the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA). We aim to ensure that every vehicle leaving our floor meets the highest standards of performance.
1. 7-Day “Cooling-Off” Period (Online Purchases)
In accordance with ECTA, customers who complete their purchase entirely via our digital platforms are entitled to a cooling-off period:
- Window: You have 7 days from the date of delivery to cancel your purchase for any reason.
- Condition: The golf cart and any accessories must be in their original, unused condition.
- Logistics: The customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the vehicle to our distribution center.
- Refund: Following a successful inspection, your refund will be processed within 30 days.
2. Defective or Damaged Goods (6-Month Warranty)
Your peace of mind is backed by the CPA. We guarantee that our vehicles are of high quality and free of material defects.
- Six-Month Protection: If a material defect arises within 6 months of delivery, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund.
- Your Choice: As the consumer, the choice of remedy (repair vs. refund) is yours, provided the defect is significant and was not caused by user negligence or unauthorized alterations.
- Exclusions: This protection does not cover standard wear and tear, neglect of battery maintenance, or specific “as-is” defects disclosed in writing at the time of a pre-owned sale.
3. Incorrect Deliveries
If the vehicle delivered does not match your signed sales agreement (e.g., incorrect color, model, or specifications):
- Please notify us within 24 hours of delivery.
- We will coordinate the collection and redelivery of the correct unit at no additional cost to you.
4. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are final sale unless they are found to be defective:
- Custom-Built Units: Golf carts modified or personalized to your specific technical or aesthetic requirements.
- Special Order Parts: Components specifically sourced for you that are not part of our standard stock.
- Electronic Components: Any software or electrical parts that have been unsealed or installed.
5. Refund Timeline & Process
Once a return is authorized and the vehicle has been inspected by our technicians:
- Method: All refunds are issued via EFT to the original bank account used for the transaction.
- Timeline: Please allow 7–10 business days for the funds to reflect in your account once the return is validated.
- Deductions: We reserve the right to charge a reasonable restocking or usage fee if the vehicle has been driven excessively or shows signs of new damage while in your possession.
